About Your Book
What languages are available for stories to be written in?
While currently our best tales are written in English, we support stories written in English, Italian, Afrikaans, Spanish, German, French, Indonesian, Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Greek, Latvian, Mandarin, Arabic, Turkish, Japanese, Swahili, Welsh, Korean, and Icelandic. Feel free to reach out to us if you’re looking for a language we don’t currently offer.
What ages are Tales best for?
Tailored Tales are currently optimized for a 1-7 year old reader. Our language and vocabulary is not well optimized for much older than 7, but the stories will still be just as fun and fantastic.
Are digital versions of Tailored Tales available?
At this time, Tailored Tales are only available in physical books. Through initial testing and research, we’ve found that the impacts of a physical book far outweigh the benefits of a digital book/app. We see kids respond much better to the lessons and learnings, as well as feel the impact of seeing themselves as the main character much better in a physical book. We’d also like to avoid encouraging screen time as much as possible. 🙂
Can I have multiple children in the same book?
We currently support just two custom characters (including a pet).

How many pictures do you need?
We only need a single image of each character to perfectly capture their adorable and unique likeness!
Can I order this as a gift?
Absolutely! Tailored Tales make for an incredibly thoughtful and unique gift. If you do not have 10-20 quality pictures of the child you’ll be sending this book to, then during the ordering process, simply select the option to upload photos at a later time. This will give you a link to send to the child’s parent or use yourself at your convenience.
How long does it take for a book to arrive after placing an order?
Each Tailored Tale is crafted with care, and printed uniquely. It takes roughly 3-5 days for our technology enabled storytelling to design, write, and illustrate your story. Another 1-2 days for your book to be printed and inspected with our partners in the United Kingdom. And 5-10 days to ship depending on the shipping option you choose and where you are located in the world.
What do you do with the uploaded pictures after the book is created?
Your privacy is paramount (we get it, we’re parents too!). We do not save your uploaded images, only the cartoon image version we generate. We NEVER use submitted images for training or tuning company models.
